Setup Checklist
Your dashboard shows a progress bar tracking your setup completion. Here’s what each step means and why it matters.
The 6 Setup Steps

Section titled “1. Add Store Logo”Why it matters: Your logo builds brand recognition and trust.
How to complete:
- Go to Stores in sidebar
- Click your store name
- Click the placeholder image
- Upload your logo (PNG, 400x400px recommended)
Tips:
- Use a transparent PNG for best results
- Keep it simple and recognizable
- Test how it looks on mobile
2. Add First Product
Section titled “2. Add First Product”Why it matters: You need something to sell!
How to complete:
- Go to Products
- Click Add Product
- Fill in required fields:
- Name
- Price
- At least one image
- Set status to Active
- Save
Tips:
- Start with your best-selling item
- Write a compelling description
- Use high-quality images
3. Connect WhatsApp
Section titled “3. Connect WhatsApp”Why it matters: WhatsApp is the #1 way Malaysian customers communicate.
How to complete:
- Go to Settings > General
- Find WhatsApp Number field
- Select country code (+60 for Malaysia)
- Enter your number (without leading 0)
- Save
Tips:
- Use a business WhatsApp number
- Make sure you can receive messages
- Consider WhatsApp Business for features
4. Setup Payment Method
Section titled “4. Setup Payment Method”Why it matters: Customers need a way to pay you.
How to complete:
- Go to Settings > Payments
- Enable at least one method:

Tips:
- Start with WhatsApp + COD for fastest setup
- Add Stripe later for card payments
- Malaysian gateways need account approval
5. Customize Storefront
Section titled “5. Customize Storefront”Why it matters: First impressions count. Make your store look professional.
How to complete:
- Go to Website > Appearance
- Set your brand colors
- Upload a favicon (optional)
- Go to Website > Storefront
- Add a hero banner
- Configure featured products
- Save
Tips:
- Use consistent colors
- Hero image: 1920x600px
- Preview on mobile before saving
6. Launch Your Store
Section titled “6. Launch Your Store”Why it matters: Until you publish, customers can’t see your store.
How to complete:
- Go to Dashboard
- Find the Publish/Unpublish toggle (top-right)
- Click to enable (toggle turns green)
- Your store is now live!
Tips:
- Double-check everything before publishing
- Test the checkout flow yourself
- Share your store link immediately
After Setup
Section titled “After Setup”Once you reach 100%, consider these next steps:
- Add more products
- Create collections/categories
- Set up shipping rates
- Connect a custom domain
- Invite team members
- Set up email notifications
Your store is ready to accept orders!
