Managing Products

Products are the heart of your store. Learn how to manage your entire catalog effectively.

Product Types

Pintas.ai supports multiple product types:

Creating a Product

Section titled “Creating a Product”
  1. Go to Products in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Product
  3. Fill in the required fields:

Basic Information

Section titled “Basic Information”

Media

Section titled “Media”
  • Upload product images (first image = main photo)
  • Recommended size: 1000x1000px (square)
  • Formats: JPG, PNG, WebP
  • Max file size: 5MB

Inventory

Section titled “Inventory”

Status

Product Variants

Section titled “Product Variants”

For products with options like size or color:

  1. Edit your product
  2. Click Manage Options
  3. Add option type (e.g., “Size”)
  4. Add values (e.g., “S”, “M”, “L”)
  5. Set price/inventory per variant

Example: T-Shirt with Sizes

Organizing Products

Section titled “Organizing Products”

Collections

Section titled “Collections”

Group related products into collections:

  1. Go to Collections
  2. Create collection (e.g., “New Arrivals”)
  3. Add products to collection

Products can belong to multiple collections.

Tags

Section titled “Tags”

Add tags for internal organization and filtering. Tags don’t show to customers.

Bulk Operations

Section titled “Bulk Operations”

Import Products

Section titled “Import Products”
  1. Go to Products
  2. Click Import
  3. Download CSV template
  4. Fill in your products
  5. Upload completed CSV

Export Products

Section titled “Export Products”
  1. Go to Products
  2. Click Export
  3. Download CSV of all products

Bulk Edit

Section titled “Bulk Edit”
  1. Select multiple products (checkboxes)
  2. Use action menu for bulk:
    • Change status
    • Update prices
    • Assign collection
    • Delete

Digital Products

Section titled “Digital Products”

For downloadable products:

  1. Set product type to Digital
  2. Upload files in Digital Files section
  3. Files are automatically delivered via email after purchase

Supported formats: PDF, ZIP, MP3, MP4, and more.

Best Practices

Section titled “Best Practices”
  1. Use clear names - Descriptive, searchable titles
  2. Write good descriptions - Include benefits, specs, materials
  3. Quality images - Multiple angles, lifestyle shots
  4. Accurate inventory - Update stock regularly
  5. Organize with collections - Help customers browse
  6. Price competitively - Research your market
